Bloom Academy Parent Information
Drop off / Sign in Procedure & Pick-Up
How does drop off and pick up work & what is the late policy?
School drop-off is from 8:30-8:40am each morning. For the safety of our students, doors will be locked at 8:35am.
All students must be picked up by 11:30am.
Parents or caregiver must sign the child in on the sign-in sheet each day which will include emergency contact information and the person picking up the child that day. Children will be released to the person(s) who have been listed in writing on the sign in sheet. If someone different will be picking up your student, please notify Bloom as soon as possible. We may require the person picking up your child to show identification if our staff is unfamiliar with them.
If you pick up your child late, you will be charged $1.00 after a grace period of 5 minutes. We ask that you respect our pick-up time of 11:30am.

Birthdays and Holidays
Are treats allowed for my child’s birthday?
We love to celebrate birthdays and we want it to be special for your child. We do allow parents to bring in special treats for the class! If you plan to bring a special birthday treat, let us know and we will include it on the snack calendar . Candy will not be served as a snack but can be distributed as a take home treat.
We will have holiday parties throughout the year. We want to celebrate all cultures & holidays to allow your child to learn & accept everyone!
There are no obligations but the teacher will provide a sign-up sheet in advance if you would like to donate items for the parties.

Will there be show & tell days?
Each child will have a chance to bring their favorite items to school. The teacher will let you know the day your child can bring those items.
Please do not bring play guns, swords, knives, or oversized toys.
Star Student is a great way for your child to share things about his/her interest. Every student will have a special week to be a star student.
Your teacher will provide you with this information when it is time for your child to be the Star Student.
